Our Principal Lighting Consultant, Mr. Stanley Tay, presented a keynote titled “Lighting Up Evocative Experiences” under the session theme “RCEP Opportunities Shining Through Cultural Lighting Design.” In his address, Stanley shared how engineering research, optical design, and cultural context come together to shape the next generation of architectural lighting. He highlighted how lighting solutions today must transcend aesthetics — becoming technically intelligent, emotionally resonant, and highly responsive to the spaces they illuminate. His keynote emphasised the creation of original lighting applications that help people form meaningful connections with the environments they inhabit.
