Serene Wetland Lighting – A place managed by Singapore’s PUB, we transformed the Lorong Halus Wetlands bridge area with post-sunset lighting. Balancing serenity with mystery, we illuminated trees, footpaths, and the iconic bridge using our custom outdoor lights, ensuring visitor safety while achieving aesthetics. The result is a dramatic yet natural lighting effect that enhances the beauty of the wetlands.
Community Festive Display – Proudly presenting our CNY light show in collaboration with JTC! Months of hard work culminated in this spectacular display, running daily from 8 PM to 9:30 PM, February 19-28. Living up to our belief of connecting spaces to people through lighting, this unique customised light show spreads the festive joy to the neighbourhood. It can be seen as far as 3 kilometers away. By creating original graphical design that can be projected onto walls, it adds another layer of skills to our lighting application.
Revitalized Historic Experience – Illuminating Asia is proud to receive the International A’Design 2021 Iron Award for Lighting Products and Lighting Projects Design. Appointed as the lead lighting consultant and main contractor for the 8.5-hectare heritage park, Haw Par Villa, we revitalized a national cultural site by using light to narrate old stories for a new generation. Beyond just the sculptures and landscape, a key feature was our innovative gobo-moving light show at the park’s entrance, designed in compliance with conservation laws, successfully attracted a new wave of visitors.
Smart Lighting Integration – The GR.iD Singapore, a renowned shopping mall celebrated for its unique architectural design and vibrant atmosphere, recently upgraded its lighting experience with the help of Illuminating Asia. Utilizing the Tuya platform, the mall now boasts a state-of-the-art, controllable lighting system. Tuya’s advanced platform allows for central control and management, simplifying maintenance and troubleshooting. The system enables customizable lighting scenes tailored to different areas, such as bright lighting for retail spaces and ambient lighting for food courts and entertainment zones. Scheduling and automation features enhance energy efficiency by programming lights to adjust based on mall hours and events, reducing operational costs. With Tuya’s cloud-based remote access and monitoring, management is seamless, ensuring optimal performance and energy consumption. This upgrade not only improves energy efficiency and cost savings but also enhances scalability and future-proofing, ultimately boosting the overall lighting experience and customer satisfaction at GR.iD Singapore.
Illuminated Mystical Depths – As the lighting consultant representing United Kingdom Team for the ‘Landscape & Fantasy Gardens’ competition, we secured victory with our ‘Mystical Depths’ theme. Our design, showcasing hills and valleys illuminated by a midnight moon’s glow and accented with strategically placed LED ‘fireflies’ controlled by microcontrollers, created an enchanting deep blue ambiance that is alive . This innovative integration of function, engineering, and art earned us the Silver Award, marking a world first in architectural competitions.
Refined Illumination Techniques – We were privileged to upgrade the aged lighting at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, enhancing the lobby’s ambiance and visual appeal. Notably, our advanced lighting techniques successfully illuminated the jade ship sculpture within its laminated glass enclosure, highlighting its intricate details and prominence as a centerpiece.
