An Oasis of Tranquility In Luxury Living – In Singapore’s bustling heart, Dalvey Haus offers a sanctuary of tranquility. As you enter the concierge, our lighting design evokes a sense of peace, mirroring the modern minimalist luxury of the architecture and materials. The centerpiece of the space is the swimming pool, its surface transformed into a shimmering mirage by the lighting. Here, minimal illumination on the sides gradually builds towards a dramatic highlight on the unique textured façade at the far end, mimicking the calm rhythm of nature’s breath. As the sun dips below the horizon, artificial lighting gracefully takes over, transitioning from a soft, natural glow to the warm embrace of night. This subtle interplay with nature’s light cycle invites you to immerse yourself in the slow, soothing movement of the water, fostering a sense of appreciation and renewal. Our design, showcasing hills and valleys illuminated by a midnight moon’s glow and accented with strategically placed LED ‘fireflies’ controlled by microcontrollers, created an enchanting deep blue ambiance that is alive . This innovative integration of function, engineering, and art earned us the Silver Award, marking a world first in architectural competitions.

Surrounded by modern restaurants and bars in a heritage area, we enhanced this historical landmark’s vibrancy with innovative LED lighting art. Using LED strips to outline tree branches, we created a dynamic effect that transitions seamlessly from sunset to night, mimicking the veins of the living trees. A Symphony of Light and Structure Our lighting design for Design Orchard embodies grandeur and elegance, transforming the space into a welcoming yet impressive environment. From the moment shoppers arrive, a distinctive installation of classic filament bulbs draws attention at the entrance—layered with depth and visual intrigue. This striking feature sets the tone for a sophisticated retail experience. Entrance Feature: Warm Glow & Precision Design We showcased the entrance with a precise dot arrangement of LED bulb fixtures, casting a warm and inviting glow. The use of a 2700K color temperature enhances this ambiance, creating a visually harmonious space that feels both intimate and grand. Each bulb’s placement was meticulously calculated to complement the architectural scale, ensuring a balanced and proportional design. Main Atrium: A Refresh of Grandeur To enhance the sense of majesty in the main atrium, we carried out a strategic lighting refresh. Linear lighting was seamlessly integrated into the signature wooden ring structure—emphasizing its form while elevating it as a central architectural feature. All existing spotlights were upgraded to high-performance luminaires, producing a vibrant and well-defined layered ambiance. Enhancing Brightness with Layered Illumination Additional surface-mounted downlights were thoughtfully positioned throughout the atrium to elevate overall brightness without overwhelming the space. This layered approach enhances visual comfort while maintaining a luxurious and immersive atmosphere. A Lighting Statement in Brutalist Architecture The overall concept balances aesthetic appeal with functional performance, paying homage to the building’s brutalist industrial architecture. Through thoughtful illumination, we created a warm and sophisticated atmosphere that invites connection and elevates the retail experience. The result is a lighting design that stands as an iconic artistic expression—using light not just as illumination, but as a medium for storytelling and engagement.
