Dynamic Light Artistry – We developed a dramatic lighting scheme of shadows and light for the newly redesigned main holding area of an indoor arts theatre, enhancing its modern minimalist aesthetics. Utilizing our industry experience, we collaborated with manufacturers in virtual experiments to finalize specifications and visualizations to achieve a less than 2 months implementation from start of design to end handover.
Revitalized Historic Experience – Illuminating Asia is proud to receive the International A’Design 2021 Iron Award for Lighting Products and Lighting Projects Design. Appointed as the lead lighting consultant and main contractor for the 8.5-hectare heritage park, Haw Par Villa, we revitalized a national cultural site by using light to narrate old stories for a new generation. Beyond just the sculptures and landscape, a key feature was our innovative gobo-moving light show at the park’s entrance, designed in compliance with conservation laws, successfully attracted a new wave of visitors.
Illuminated Mystical Depths – As the lighting consultant representing United Kingdom Team for the ‘Landscape & Fantasy Gardens’ competition, we secured victory with our ‘Mystical Depths’ theme. Our design, showcasing hills and valleys illuminated by a midnight moon’s glow and accented with strategically placed LED ‘fireflies’ controlled by microcontrollers, created an enchanting deep blue ambiance that is alive . This innovative integration of function, engineering, and art earned us the Silver Award, marking a world first in architectural competitions.
The True Vines – Illuminating Asia transformed a premier entertainment and lifestyle destination in the central business district into a contemporary art haven. Surrounded by modern restaurants and bars in a heritage area, we enhanced this historical landmark’s vibrancy with innovative LED lighting art. Using LED strips to outline tree branches, we created a dynamic effect that transitions seamlessly from sunset to night, mimicking the veins of the living trees. This design fosters a serene yet vibrant atmosphere. Our expertise in lighting and environmental design revitalized Chijmes, offering visitors an immersive, interactive experience that enhances the space’s vibrancy and emotional appeal.

Illuminating THE GREENHEART – We are honored to be the lighting consultant for such an acclaimed prestigious project; Lighting up the landscape with an original design concept that enhances the energy of the nature for all to behold. Drawing from extensive research in plant biology, lighting technologies, and structural design, we developed a design that excels in aesthetics, integration, and maintainability. With SMART Bluetooth technology, it enables remote dimming and control via mobile devices, simplifying installation, controls and maintenance altogether.
Serene Wetland Lighting – A place managed by Singapore’s PUB, we transformed the Lorong Halus Wetlands bridge area with post-sunset lighting. Balancing serenity with mystery, we illuminated trees, footpaths, and the iconic bridge using our custom outdoor lights, ensuring visitor safety while achieving aesthetics. The result is a dramatic yet natural lighting effect that enhances the beauty of the wetlands.
