Pre-requisites:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Lighting Design.
- Previous sales experience in the lighting industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Dialux Evo/Dialux, and Computer Graphics Rendering.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Strong communication skills, responsible, organized, flexible, and a supportive team player.
- Reliable, self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented.
- 3-6 years of lighting design and project management experience.
Scope of Work:
- Collaborate with clients to develop lighting design solutions for façades, interiors, landscapes, and related applications.
- Present lighting designs through calculations, sketches, cut sheets, renderings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Source and manage manufacturers and suppliers, adapting lighting to as-built plans.
- Handle physical lighting products and evaluate performance.
- Prepare budget and power consumption estimates.
- Present designs to clients and manage project execution.
- Review proposed lighting products, fittings, and circuitry layouts.
- Participate in international lighting design competitions.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with relevant parties.
- Engage in regular training programs (on-the-job training mainly).
- Work with Photoshop, Lightroom, Dialux, Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.
- Manage outreach and project acquisition, handling projects from inception to completion.
- Be prepared for night work or weekends as required.
